Just transfered about 3 GB of video from 3 different cameras onto my computer from last Saturday’s trip. I’m going to try and construct a music video from all the clips, hopefully turn it into a good representation of a 20-somethings life in a midwest winter.

Today I’ve started the final step to complete the Tusk tribute EP; mixing. I’ve begun with the EP’s opener and will move throughout the track-listing until complete. Worked hard this week. (big surprise?) Set up a new keyboard that allows maxium practicing, 30 minutes a day has turned into 45 minutes has turned into 60 minutes. Started working on a live set, solo right now. Just a guitar and some effects but slowly adding pieces to the puzzle. SCIENCE!
A wonderful night I did have. A trip to the American Science and Surplus Store with my best friend was ever so delightful. An interesting store with gidgets, gadgets, kerplunkers, tonkers, and all other kinds of words I made up. Beakers and testtubes galore, however, a large amount of toys and silly keychains as well.
The store gave me an idea for a voice modulator I want to make....

In the first few seconds of the Sleeping In video, if you look out the window, you’ll see our mailman Jesse walk across the screen. Take a good look, he’s a great guy. My roommate Pat gave him free tickets to go see Wu-Tang this Saturday and he was really really excited. He left us a thank you note the next day saying, “To Everyone: thanks for the Wu-tickets.” Haha, oh...

Today I set up a bandcamp that you’ll be able to download any of the music I release in the coming months. So far, the Sleeping In single is all that is up there, but soon I willl have various albums, releases, and fun downloads.

A great year so far, six days in and I’ve kept to all of my New Years resolutions. That seems silly to say, but I’m really enjoying everything I’ve committed myself to. At least 30 minutes practicing piano and 30 minutes practicing singing. This is something I’ve never forced on myself but it feels good, I’m enjoying the time and wanting to do it more and more....
